The start of our 2026 season is so close we can almost smell the sunscreen, taste those strawberry daiquiris and, better yet, feel that bass thumping from the deep heart of Freddies!
We’re on the home stretch of winter now, and to make these next two months just a little more bearable, we’ve just unveiled our summer event calendar over on our website. Phase one of our event announcements includes many of our (and yours!) favourite big hitters: the Pikes Opening Weekend, obviously, along with our beloved Pikes House Party, the legendary Sundays at Pikes, our anything-goes Mondays and Tuesdays in the Bathtub Club.
First and foremost, we’re officially opening the gates to Pikes on Thursday April 02. We’ll spend a week easing into things – new menus, new cocktails and most importantly, the pool – before kicking off the party season with the Pikes Opening Party on Friday April 10. There’s no rest for the wicked because the following day we’re diving straight into the first of 29 Pikes House Parties – and we can assure you, no two will ever be alike. So much so that we’ve given our line-ups a bit of a shake-up, so you can expect to see some exciting fresh new faces shaking it behind the Freddies booth, but rest assured – we’ll always have those down-home Pikes House Party vibes.
As always, entry to Freddies remains completely, totally, unabashedly, happily, blissfully FREE! All you have to do is pop your name on our guestlist, follow the Pikes Codes (if you know, you know, and if you don’t… we’ll educate you!) and arrive early on the night. Our guestlists open two weeks prior to each event but you can sign-up now (yes! Right now!) to register your interest, and then you’ll be among the very first to be notified when it’s time to sign up.
If – like us – you like to fuel up before an event, there are two other ways to gain access to Freddies on your chosen nights, and they come complete with a serving of delicious food. Nothing says pre-game like pizza, and we’re happy (and hungry) to announce we’re bringing back our mouthwateringly good Night Slices in the Garden Bar this summer, the perfect place to while away the hours between 7.30pm and 10pm (and 9pm on Saturdays) while chowing down on tasty Pikes Pizzas before heading on into the party. All you need to do is pre-book your slice tokens online and then you’re automatically on the list.
Then of course, there’s dinner at The Pikes Restaurant – the ultimate way to dine in style before dancing the night away to your favourite DJs. Gather your gang and book a table for dinner and when you arrive at the door, you’ll be whisked into Pikes, taken up the garden path, and escorted to your seats for a feast followed by festivities, because yes, you guessed it – as a restaurant guest, you’re already on the list! We’re already eagerly anticipating chef Tim Payne’s return to the test kitchen this month and we can’t wait to share his new menus with you as soon as they’ve been finessed.
Finally, there’s another kind-of, sort-of secret way you can shimmy into Pikes – one we’ve been gatekeeping for a while (sorry!) but feel like it’s time to share the love. You see, every night, we offer a handful of drinks tables in a secluded spot you can call your own for the night, that can be pre-booked to guarantee you’ve scored a space. They’re the perfect place to escape to in-between dancing in Freddies, mingling in Plaza Mayor and catching your breath in the garden. We recommend snapping these up early because when they’re gone, they’re gone.
There’s so much fun and sunshine on the horizon – and this is just the start. We’ve got plenty more announcements, including lots more events and loads of the best artists and DJs, up our sleeves so watch this space!
